Author Colin Comer decided to design and produce a special edition of Shelby Mustang Fifty Years as unique as Shelby’s own 1965 GT350s, but even more rare!
This Author’s Limited Edition is only available through Colin Comer Books and features a more substantial, thicker hard cover that is wrapped in a soft, black, cow-friendly imitation leather with embossed silver metallic foil lettering, an aluminum book Serial Number tag (in the style of the original 1965 Shelby Mustang serial number tags) recessed into the cover, and embossed silver foil Le Mans stripes on both the front and back cover. And so you don’t miss out on the cover art of the standard edition, it is reproduced inside the Author’s Edition with each copies serial number. There is also a signature page where Colin is happy to sign and/or personalize your serialized copy at no charge if you desire.
The Author’s Limited Edition not only is the ultimate Shelby Mustang collectible for your own bookshelf but also offers an opportunity to buy that special Shelby enthusiast a personalized, limited edition book directly from the Author that will never be found in stores.
Special requests for specific serial numbers between 001 and 500 will be honored as possible based on availability.
Peter Brock says:
“Colin Comer has done it again! What his last spectacular book Shelby Cobra 50 Years was to the Texan’s snakes his new Shelby Mustang Fifty Years is to Shelby’s Mustangs. It is the perfect addition to any Shelby or Mustang enthusiast’s library. Somehow Colin seems to come up with new, unseen historic photography as well as the latest images of fantastic perfect restorations, like those of the first production and racing versions of the GT350 Shelby Mustang 5S003 and 5R002.
Colin’s latest also provides great insight into the background and development of the whole Mustang project at Shelby American with the project’s leader, Chuck Cantwell, as well as commentary from those who assisted in making these great cars. It’s all here, history, passion, racing and absolute perfection in the form of concours-level photography. An exceptional and highly recommended book!”
